Abstract

The purpose. The work is devoted to the consideration of the level of economic development of road-transport complex, the research of views on the necessity of reforming the Railways of Ukraine, deepening integration into the global economic system and cooperation with international financial institutions to use international technical assistance to implement the necessary structural reforms. Methods. To investigate these issues it is recommended that a qualified and balanced analysis of real achievements and risks in the economic sphere with the identification of appropriate strategies and tactics of behavior in the current environment. The Results. Proposed the establishment of an international financial and technical cooperation with international financial institutions to promote economic development, which is implemented in the form of substantial financial resources, technological innovation, international best practices for structural reforms in road transport sector in the context of the internal equipment of Ukraine, modernization of the economy to enhance national competitiveness. Scientific novelty. Much attention is given priority to the expansion of road and transport complex of Ukraine: implementation of branch modernisation in the transport sector, attracting foreign investment to accelerate structural transformation, development and implementation of mechanisms for attracting financial resources in the development of transport infrastructure. The practical significance. The aim of the reform of road-transport complex (DTC) in the context of the internal arrangement of the country is the creation of an integrated transport system, which not only properly meet the needs of society in the transportation of passengers and cargo, provided the decrease in transport costs in the cost of production using cost-based rates, but provided b the effective implementation of transit potential of Ukraine.
