Abstract

Purpose. To examine existing indicators for assessing the effective functioning of passenger transport in long-distance communication and to offer new, allowing to evaluate the performance of transport, the main products of transport.  Methods.. For solving problems of this class is proposed to use a systematic approach when evaluating the results of transport operations, the main products of transport and making economically sound decisions. Scientific novelty. The proposed indicators allow to evaluate not only the technological transport activity of economic entities of passenger transport, but also take into account the functions vested in one or another level of control for complex systems "passenger terminal".
