Perspective directions of development of transport system taking into account the strategic priorities of the national economy

Abstract

The purpose. Is to identify and define, based on identified strategic priorities of economic development prospects and directions of development of transport system of Ukraine. Methods. The proposed work includes two main stages: generating the initial data required for the implementation of the process predict promising directions of development of transport system; a stage for strategic priorities. The Results. From the study shows that the most promising directions of development of transport system in the conditions of market economy are: the renewal of rolling stock, improvement of the investment climate in the industry, transport market liberalization and integration of domestic transporte system to the European and international transport systems, improving the efficiency of state management in the field of transport. In General, the definition of perspective directions of development of transport network of Ukraine have confirmed the close relationship with the prospects of functioning ventilatory sectors of the national economy and projected their need for the consumption of transport products. The integration of the domestic transport system to the European and international transport systems is possible through: development of export of transport services, efficient use of transit potential, increase competitiveness of domestic transport at the international transport services market; accession and enforcement of international transport conventions and agreements; harmonization of national transport legislation with EU legislation; development and implementation in accordance with international requirements technical and technological regulations and standards; unification of requirements to the carriers; ensuring cooperation with the EU with the aim of developing international transport corridors defined by the high level Group of the European Commission; ensuring the development of cooperation with Poland, Belarus and other States on the organization of piggyback transportation; supporting the interoperability of transport networks of Ukraine and neighboring countries; bilateral agreements on transport communication between Ukraine and member States of the EU; the modernisation of the infrastructure of border crossing points; introduction of automated system of transfer of railway rolling stock from broad to narrow gauge. Scientific novelty. A comprehensive approach to improving the system of planning of perspective directions of development of transport system of Ukraine under the influence of specific features of functioning ventilatory industries. The practical significance. The main results can be used in improving the system, planning the development of the transport system and private transport modes, both freight and passenger traffic.
